San Miguel de Salinas is a very popular Spanish town just 7 km from the beaches of Orihuela Costa and surrounded by beautiful countryside which includes citrus and almond groves and the national park of Sierra Escalona right on our doorstep. You can walk and cycle for miles along the canal which runs right next to the town. There´s a great variety of bars and restaurants, both Spanish and international (almost 30 in the town centre alone, which means the annual tapas run event is very popular!!). If you´re looking for a holiday destination or a place to live all year round, San Miguel is a great choice as it has all amenities (primary and secondary schools with excellent reputations, banks, health centre which never closes, 3 pharmacies, large outdoor swimming pool, football and athletics stadium, 5-a-side football pitch, tennis courts, padel courts, basketball courts, petanca, crown green bowls etc) and a healthy mix of Spanish and foreign neighbours. The pace of life is gentle and relaxing, and prices in the bars tend to be more reasonable than the coast (a glass of good red wine from the barrel will set you back just 50 centimos in some of the bars). The weekly Wednesday street market is a great opportunity to stock up on locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, hams, cheeses, olives, clothes and shoes etc, before having a drink and tapas in one of our friendly tavernas! There is a good local taxi service and buses run several times daily to Torrevieja, Orihuela and Murcia. Alicante airport is approx 40 mins drive and Murcia approx 20 mins drive. San Miguel is a place where you can enjoy a taste of traditional Spanish life and culture, without foregoing the benefits of top-class facilities and amenities. It´s a friendly place too, which we think you´ll love!

Un espléndido de 4 dormitorios, 3 baños villa independiente en su propio terreno con piscina privada, jacuzzi, cocina moderna independiente y amplias vistas de campo a la distancia! Calefacción central de gas, aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo. Se vende totalmente amueblado a un nivel muy alto. Esto realmente es una propiedad encantadora que ofrece la comodidad total y el lujo en medio de hermosos alrededores, pero con servicios e instalaciones a mano. En el primer piso se ha incorporado un cuarto dormitorio con baño en-suite y un espacio propio. El resto de la vivienda y la cocina se encuentra en la planta baja. El diseño de la propiedad fluye bien con la puerta principal que conduce más allá de la cocina y en el salón espacioso (con chimenea). Las habitaciones de abajo y baño se accede a través de un pasillo a la derecha. Si usted está buscando un destino de vacaciones o un lugar para vivir todo el año, San Miguel es una gran opción ya que tiene todas las comodidades (escuelas primarias y secundarias con excelente reputación, bancos, centro de salud que nunca cierra, 3 farmacias, grandes Piscina al aire libre, estadio de fútbol y atletismo, cancha de fútbol americano, canchas de tenis, pistas de pádel, canchas de baloncesto, petanca, coronas verdes, etc.) y una mezcla saludable de vecinos españoles y extranjeros. El ritmo de vida es suave y relajante, y los precios en los bares tienden a ser más razonable que la costa (una copa de buen vino tinto del barril te hará retroceder sólo 50 centimos en algunos de los bares). El mercadillo semanal del miércoles es una gran oportunidad para abastecerse de frutas y hortalizas cultivadas localmente, jamones, quesos, aceitunas, ropa y zapatos etc, antes de tomar una copa y tapas en una de nuestras tabernas amigables! Hay un buen servicio de taxi local y autobuses varias veces diarias a Torrevieja, Orihuela y Murcia. El aeropuerto de Alicante está a unos 40 minutos en coche y Murcia aproximadamente 20 minutos en coche. San Miguel es un lugar donde podrá disfrutar de la cultura y la vida tradicional española, sin olvidar los beneficios de instalaciones y servicios de primera clase. ¡Es un lugar amistoso también, que creemos que te encantará!
